Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1ZNONM027 OM4 27m LC Duplex Fiber Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1ZNONM027 is a 27-meter (88.6 ft) OM4, 2-fiber, LC duplex patch cable featuring a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. This cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in environments where plenum-rated or LSZH cabling is mandated, such as data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas. Its uniboot/cs connector ensures a compact footprint and simplified cable management, crucial for dense network deployments.

Compatibility

This cable utilizes standard LC duplex connectors, making it compatible with any network equipment, transceivers (like SFP+, QSFP+, etc.), and patch panels that accept LC duplex interfaces. The OM4 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters, 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, and higher speeds over shorter distances, aligning with modern high-density server and storage interconnects.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design simplifies cable management by combining two fibers into a single jacket with a push-pull tab for easy insertion and removal. Ensure proper bend radius is maintained during installation to prevent signal degradation, especially in tight spaces. The LSZH jacket reduces the emission of toxic and corrosive gases during a fire, meeting stringent safety standards for enclosed spaces.

Standards

This Panduit cable adheres to TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring interoperability and performance within structured cabling systems. The OM4 fiber category specifically supports higher bandwidth applications compared to OM3, offering a performance upgrade for demanding network backbones.
