Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1ZNNNM027 OM4 27m LSZH Fiber Optic Cable

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1ZNNNM027 is a 27-meter (88.6 ft) OM4 multimode fiber optic cable designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. Featuring LC duplex connectors and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, this cable is engineered for rapid deployment in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas where fire safety and performance are critical. The uniboot design simplifies cable management by consolidating two fibers into a single jacket, reducing bundle size and improving airflow.

Compatibility

This cable is compatible with standard LC duplex ports found in network switches, servers, and fiber optic patch panels. It is suitable for use with OM4 fiber optic infrastructure, supporting data rates up to 100 Gbps for distances up to 150 meters and 400 Gbps for shorter runs (e.g., up to 100 meters). The cable meets TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring interoperability with compliant equipment.

Installation Notes

The LSZH jacket material minimizes toxic smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire, making it suitable for plenum spaces or areas with strict environmental regulations. The uniboot connector facilitates easier handling and termination, especially in high-density racks where space is limited. Ensure proper bend radius is maintained during installation to prevent signal degradation; OM4 fiber typically requires a minimum bend radius of 7.5mm.
