Overview

The Panduit FZ2ELQ1SNSNM021 is a QuickNet™ pre-terminated OM4 multimode duplex fiber patch cable designed for structured cabling in data centers, telecommunications rooms, entrance facilities, and equipment distribution areas. At 21 meters (68.9 ft), it bridges mid-to-long intra-rack or cross-row runs where OM3 bandwidth margins are too tight for 40G or 100G applications. The 1.6mm cordage diameter keeps cable management clean in high-density trays, and the push-pull LC connector design lets you seat and release connectors in congested patch panels without fishing fingers into a tight field — a genuine time-saver during moves, adds, and changes. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket is rated for plenum-adjacent and enclosed spaces where PVC off-gassing in a fire event is unacceptable, satisfying most facility safety requirements without a separate plenum-rated upsell.

Compatibility

LC duplex to SC duplex (push-pull LC on the equipment side, SC on the plant side) — wire this between LC-port switches, transceivers, or media converters and SC-terminated structured cabling panels. OM4 50/125µm glass is backward-compatible with OM3 infrastructure and supports 10GbE to 550m, 40GbE to 150m, and 100GbE to 100m per TIA-568.3-D. Installation Notes

Push-pull LC housing requires panel cutouts or cassettes that accept the wider pull-tab footprint — confirm cassette or panel compatibility before installation in dense 1U 48-port fields where tab clearance is tight. LSZH jacket is less flexible than PVC at temperatures below 0°C; dress and route at ambient temperature before sealing cable management. The 1.6mm diameter is not a standard 2.0mm zip cord — use appropriate bend-radius guides rated for 1.6mm cordage (minimum bend radius typically 25mm under load) to avoid insertion-loss creep over time.
