Description

Panduit FYZTP77Y005F036 OM4 12-Fiber MPO Female Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FYZTP77Y005F036 is a QuickNet™ HD Flex pre-terminated OM4 multimode fiber patch cable with MPO Female connectors on both ends, 1.0 meter (3.3 ft) in length with a 12-fiber count. Designed for high-density structured cabling deployments, this trunk-side patch cable eliminates field termination in environments where downtime and installation error carry real cost — data centers, telecom rooms, entrance facilities, and equipment distribution areas where pre-terminated infrastructure is the standard. Compliant with TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B, the FYZTP77Y005F036 integrates into standards-based structured cabling designs without re-qualification.

Compatibility

The MPO Female interface and OM4 50/125µm multimode fiber make this cable compatible with Panduit QuickNet™ HD Flex cassette modules, MPO trunk cables, and patch panels that accept MPO Female connectors using Polarity B (Type B crossover). It is suited for connection points between MPO trunk lines and QuickNet cassette-based breakout modules in high-density spine-leaf and top-of-rack architectures. On the switch and transceiver side, MPO-based 40GBase-SR4 and 100GBase-SR4 modules operating over OM4 multimode fiber are the primary application — OM4's 50/125µm construction supports 100G over 150 meters and 40G over 150 meters, keeping headroom intact for future lane upgrades without recabling.

Installation Notes

Polarity B (crossover) configuration is factory-set — confirm your cassette and trunk polarity scheme matches before deployment; mixing Polarity A and B at connection points causes all-dark fiber. The 1-meter length is intended for intra-rack or very short inter-rack runs; it is not suited for cross-room horizontal cabling. MPO connectors are push-pull latching — no tools required for mating, but keep end-faces capped until the moment of connection since multimode MPO ferrules attract contamination that degrades multi-gigabit link margins.
