Description

Panduit FX2ERQ1SNSNM037 OM3 Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FX2ERQ1SNSNM037 is a 37-meter (121.4 ft) OM3 multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density data center environments. It provides a reliable, pre-terminated infrastructure solution for rapid deployment in telecommunications rooms, entrance facilities, and equipment distribution areas. Utilizing LC Duplex connectors on one end and SC Duplex on the other, this cable ensures robust connectivity for network backbone and server interconnects where speed and signal integrity are paramount.

Compatibility

This Panduit QuickNet™ cable is built to TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring broad compatibility with network equipment and infrastructure components that adhere to these specifications. It is suitable for use in any data center or enterprise network requiring OM3 fiber connectivity for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet (40/100GbE) up to 100 meters. The LC Duplex and SC Duplex connectors are standard for many network switches, servers, and patch panels from various manufacturers.

Installation Notes

The cable features a Riser (OFNR) flammability rating, making it suitable for in-building vertical runs but not for use in air-handling spaces. The 1.6mm jacket diameter offers a balance between flexibility and durability. Ensure proper bend radius management (minimum 10x cable diameter) during installation to prevent signal degradation and maintain optimal performance. The Push-Pull connector design on the SC end facilitates quick and secure mating and unmating.
