The Panduit FZTYP5EL2SAF040 is a 40-meter OM3 fiber optic trunk cable designed for high-density network infrastructure. It features 12 fibers terminated with MPO connectors on one end and LC duplex connectors on the other, facilitating efficient transitions between backbone and distribution cabling in data centers and enterprise environments. This cable enables high-speed data transmission up to 100 Gbps over short to medium distances, supporting demanding applications like server interconnects and SANs.
This trunk cable is compatible with standard MPO and LC duplex fiber optic interfaces. It is suitable for use with 10/40/100 Gb Ethernet applications and backward compatible with lower speeds. Use with Panduit's extensive line of fiber optic enclosures, patch panels, and transceivers designed for OM3 connectivity.
Maintain a minimum bend radius of 1 inch (25mm) during installation to prevent signal degradation. Ensure connectors are clean before mating. The MPO connector is keyed for correct orientation; do not force it into the receptacle. The LC duplex connectors are polarized for proper transmit/receive pairing.
