The 2389-WH is a white non-metallic reducing connector fitting from Middle Atlantic's Middle Atlantic raceway line, designed to join raceway sections of different sizes within the 2300-series NM cord cover system. The 2389-WH handles the transition point where a larger raceway channel steps down to a smaller run — keeping cable management continuous and the installation clean rather than leaving an open gap or requiring field fabrication. TAA compliant, making it appropriate for government and federally funded installations subject to the Trade Agreements Act.
Designed for use with Middle Atlantic's 2300-series non-metallic raceway and cord cover systems. Fits installations where a 2389-series reducing connector is specified at a size transition between two NM raceway channels. Verify the inlet and outlet channel dimensions of your specific 2300-series run before ordering — reducing connectors are dimension-specific and not interchangeable across all size pairings in the NM raceway family. For surface-mounted structured cabling runs in commercial AV, security, and access control environments where a tidy, paintable raceway transition is required.
