Overview

The Middle Atlantic 5018CWH is a white external elbow cover fitting designed for use with the Wiremold ACCESS 5000 series surface-mount raceway. Where a cable run must change direction at a wall corner or architectural transition, an unfinished elbow joint leaves conductors exposed and the installation looking incomplete. The 5018CWH snaps over the external elbow fitting at that transition point, restoring the clean, enclosed appearance of the raceway and protecting the bend from physical contact — a mandatory finish step on any customer-facing or code-inspected installation. The white color matches standard 5000 series raceway components, so the cable management run reads as a single continuous system rather than a patchwork of mismatched parts.

Compatibility

The 5018CWH is purpose-built for the Middle Atlantic Wiremold ACCESS 5000 series raceway system. It pairs specifically with the external elbow fitting in that family — install it only where a 5000 series external elbow is already in place. It is not interchangeable with fittings from the 700, 2400, or 5400 series, which use different channel widths and cover profiles. If your run uses an internal elbow (where the raceway turns at an inside corner rather than an outside corner), you need the corresponding internal elbow cover, not this part. Confirm your raceway series and elbow type before ordering.

Installation Notes

The cover is a snap-fit finish piece — no tools or fasteners required for the cover itself. However, the underlying external elbow fitting must be correctly seated and secured to the wall surface before the 5018CWH is applied. Verify the elbow fitting is flush and fully locked into both raceway channel ends before pressing the cover into place. Forcing the cover onto a misaligned elbow fitting can crack the housing.
