Description

Middle Atlantic 40N2F17WH CableSmart 40N2 Radiused Internal Elbow Fitting

Overview

The Middle Atlantic 40N2F17WH is a non-metallic, full-capacity internal elbow fitting for the Middle Atlantic CableSmart 40N2 raceway system. It solves a specific routing problem: when a cable run needs to change direction inside a wall channel or surface raceway, an unsupported bend risks jacket damage and violates bend-radius requirements for structured cabling and fiber. The 40N2F17WH provides a radiused inside corner transition — keeping cables within code-compliant bend limits without tools or field fabrication. The white finish matches the 40N2 raceway body for a clean, uniform installation in finished interior spaces such as lobbies, conference rooms, and corridors where aesthetics matter alongside function. TAA compliance makes it eligible for U.S. federal, state, and local government projects subject to the Trade Agreements Act.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic CableSmart 40N2 non-metallic raceway series. Verify that your raceway run uses the 40N2 profile — the internal elbow geometry is sized to that channel width and depth. This fitting is not interchangeable with the 40N1 (narrower) or metallic raceway variants. Pair with the matching 40N2 base and cover sections, outside elbows, couplings, and end caps to complete direction changes across a full cable management run. Suitable for structured cabling, low-voltage security wiring, and fiber routing in interior, conditioned environments.

Installation Notes

Internal elbow fittings mount inside the raceway channel at the transition point — no additional fasteners are required beyond the raceway base attachment. Confirm the wall or surface substrate is secured before fitting the elbow, as the fitting itself does not provide structural support. This is a non-metallic fitting rated for interior use; do not deploy in wet, outdoor, or high-humidity environments without verifying the full raceway system's environmental rating. Route cables through before snapping the cover in place — the radiused geometry is designed for pull-through, not retrofit insertion after cover installation.
