The Hubbell Nextspeed Ascent HJS6AOR24 is a Category 6A shielded keystone jack designed for high-speed data network installations. Its orange faceplate and Cobra-Lock termination system simplify and secure the termination process, ensuring a reliable connection for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. This 24-pack is ideal for structured cabling deployments in commercial buildings, data centers, or enterprise environments where network performance and integrity are critical.
This jack is engineered for Category 6A shielded twisted-pair (STP) cabling, supporting data transmission rates up to 10 Gbps. It is designed to fit standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, providing broad compatibility with existing network infrastructure components. Ensure your cabling and patch panels are also rated for Category 6A performance to achieve maximum network speeds.
The Cobra-Lock termination system requires a specific tool (sold separately) for proper crimping and strain relief, ensuring a secure connection that prevents wire slippage and maintains signal integrity. The shielded design requires proper grounding to the cable shield and the jack's rear housing to effectively mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, which is crucial for maintaining 10Gbps performance over longer cable runs.
