Overview
The FTRVL-ADDTLDAY is a pressurized outdoor enclosure designed for Pelco's Legacy Series pan/tilt positioning systems. Factory sealed and pressurized with dry nitrogen to 5 psi, it delivers environmental protection in severe indoor/outdoor conditions without sacrificing mechanical response. The enclosure uses RediLINK® quick-connect mechanics—both electrical and mechanical—to speed assembly and reduce wiring errors on job sites. This is the core housing for integrating a pan/tilt (such as the PT780) and receiver (such as the EH8106L) into a single weatherproof unit.
Compatibility
The FTRVL-ADDTLDAY is engineered for Pelco Legacy Series pan/tilt systems, specifically the PT780 pan/tilt unit and EH8106L receiver. The bottom-opening wall mount houses an integral receiver, and the enclosure's prewired internal feedthrough supports all camera and enclosure functions without exposed terminals. The pan/tilt component is capable of handling camera loads up to 52 pounds (23.6 kg), making it suitable for larger format sensors or lens assemblies. Verify specific receiver compatibility and voltage requirements (120 VAC or 24 VAC, 50/60 Hz) with your pan/tilt configuration before ordering.
Installation Notes
The enclosure offers four mounting orientations—wall, ceiling, pole, and corner—via multiple mounting holes on the camera sled, providing flexibility in positioning within confined spaces or unusual installation geometries. The pressurized design requires periodic nitrogen inspection to maintain the 5 psi seal. The clamshell covers are easily removed for maintenance and lens adjustment. Pan/tilt limit stops are internally adjustable, eliminating external mechanical stops that can snag cables. Gold-plated pin connectors resist corrosion and ensure reliable contact through environmental cycles. The Delrin® worm-gear drive requires no lubrication and is corrosion-resistant, extending service life in salt-air or industrial chemical environments.
