Description

Pelco C11-UM Box Camera Mount

Overview

The Pelco C11-UM is an NDAA-compliant universal mounting bracket for box-type surveillance cameras with 1/4 x 20-inch mounting holes, rated to carry up to 7 pounds (3.18 kg). Mount it directly to a single-gang electrical box or flat wall surface — no separate adapter required. This is the right choice when you need a camera fixed to standard building infrastructure without the weight or complexity of pole-mounted hardware.

Compatibility

The C11-UM works with any professional box camera using standard 1/4 x 20-inch threaded mounting holes and weighing up to 7 pounds. This includes Pelco box cameras and most third-party models with standard box footprints. The mount features a ball socket assembly with 360-degree pan adjustment and 90-degree tilt adjustment, so you can aim the camera after installation. It accepts two extension-tube lengths (1 inch and 2.75 inches) for standoff distance flexibility when mounting directly to a gang box or wall.

Installation Notes

The C11-UM includes a mounting plate, ball socket assembly, two extension tubes, and thread adhesive. Installation must be performed by qualified service personnel in compliance with all local codes. For outdoor roof or wall mounting, apply sealant around bolt holes to prevent water leakage. Use stainless steel hardware on outdoor surfaces to avoid corrosion. The mount is not recommended for use with camera enclosures — weight and balance will be affected.
