Description

Bosch TC9208 Indoor 8-Inch Aluminum Camera Mount

Overview

The Bosch TC9208 is an 8-inch indoor camera mounting arm machined from aluminum — a direct, no-compromise bracket for integrators who need a reliable standoff without the flex and corrosion risk of plastic or steel-stamped alternatives. With a 9 lb maximum load rating, it handles the full range of compact dome and box cameras typically deployed in commercial interiors, from retail ceilings to corridor walls. This is a fixed-position mount, so plan your camera angle before installation — it does not offer pan or tilt adjustment at the bracket level.

Compatibility

The TC9208 is designed for use with Bosch surveillance cameras and is sized for standard indoor camera mounts and brackets in commercial environments. The 8-inch arm provides enough standoff from the wall or ceiling surface to clear light fixtures, drop-ceiling grids, or conduit runs that would otherwise obstruct a flush-mount installation. Verify your camera's weight against the 9 lb ceiling before specifying — most compact domes fall well under this, but larger box cameras with heavy lenses can approach or exceed it. Aluminum construction keeps the bracket lightweight without sacrificing rigidity, and it won't rust in climate-controlled indoor environments the way uncoated steel hardware can over time.

Installation Notes

Intended for indoor use only — do not deploy in unconditioned spaces, outdoor overhangs, or environments with sustained humidity. Match the mount to a structural surface (stud, concrete, or rated ceiling grid anchor) to meet the 9 lb load rating safely; drywall anchors alone are not sufficient for camera mounts subject to vibration or tamper. For indoor IP camera runs where you also need to plan cabling and power, pair with a PoE switch sized to your channel count. Consult the Bosch camera accessories line for compatible junction boxes and cable management accessories that coordinate with this mount family.
