Description

Lifesafety Power RGM75-C8PZ/T4-A 75W Power Supply with 8-Relay Lock Control

The RGM75-C8PZ/T4-A is a 75-watt power supply engineered for access control systems requiring distributed relay-switched lock control across multiple entry points. It delivers 6A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC, allowing you to power both the controller and remote electromagnetic or electric strike locks from a single unit without daisy-chaining separate power modules.

Core Capability

Eight class 2 power-limited relay outputs, each rated at 2.5A maximum, enable independent control of up to eight locks or solenoid devices. Each output is field-configurable for fail-safe (de-energized state unlocks), fail-secure (de-energized state locks), or FAI (fire alarm interface) logic — critical for lifecycle-code compliance in commercial buildings where power loss must trigger a known lock state.

Deployment Context

The single FPO bus or flex cable kit integrates with Lifesafety Power access control panels and door controllers that use standard relay supervision protocols. This topology reduces point-of-failure risk by centralizing power distribution and lock switching at the entrance or zone level, rather than embedding individual 12VDC supplies inside each strike enclosure.

Integration Notes

Verify your door controller supports class 2 relay inputs and the RGM75's output voltage (12V or 24V) before ordering. Confirm total lock amperage does not exceed 2.5A per output or 6A aggregate at your selected voltage. The flex cable kit ships with this unit; no additional harness needed for standard panel mounting.

Sourcing Status

Currently on backorder. Confirm lead time with your supplier before committing to installation scheduling.
