Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-D8PE4M 75W Power Supply Enclosure

Overview

The FPO75-D8PE4M is a 75W auxiliary power supply designed to distribute regulated DC power to multiple surveillance and access-control loads in a single rack or wall-mounted enclosure. It delivers either 6A at 12V or 3A at 24V on the main output, plus eight independent Class 2 auxiliary channels rated at 2.5A each—solving the common integration problem of powering dispersed sensors, control modules, or secondary cameras when a central UPS or PoE switch cannot reach all endpoints. The E4M enclosure with Mercury backplate provides secure mounting and organized terminal connectivity.

Compatibility

Use this supply to power auxiliary devices in surveillance systems that require 12V or 24V distribution—including gate access controllers, strobe beacons, door sensors, auxiliary DVR/NVR ancillary loads, or legacy camera power packs that don't support PoE. The eight auxiliary outputs allow daisy-chaining or independent feeds to different building zones. Verify your downstream device voltage requirement (12V or 24V) before selecting the tap point on the FPO75-D8PE4M, as this supply is configured, not field-switchable between the two main voltages.

Installation Notes

Mount the FPO75-D8PE4M in a standard 19-inch rack or on a wall near your main power distribution panel. The main 12V/24V output and eight auxiliary channels use screw terminals—strip and secure each conductor to the marked post. Ensure all Class 2 wiring is segregated from line-voltage circuits and complies with local electrical code (typically requires ≥1/4" spacing from AC mains). The E4M enclosure is designed for indoor install in controlled environments; do not expose to direct moisture or extreme temperature swings. Verify branch-circuit protection upstream and test polarity before powering down-stream loads.
