Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-C4D8E2P 75W Power Supply with Relay Lock Control

Overview

The FPO75-C4D8E2P is a 75-watt regulated power supply designed for access control and life-safety installations. It delivers either 12VDC at 6A or 24VDC at 3A, making it suitable for powering multiple IP cameras, door locks, readers, and auxiliary devices in medium-sized deployments. The unit integrates four relay-controlled lock outputs and eight additional DC auxiliary outputs, eliminating the need for external relay modules in many installations.

Output Configuration & Failsafe Control

Each of the four relay lock outputs is independently fused at 3A and selectable for FAI (Fire Alarm Interface), failsafe, or failsecure operation — a critical feature for life-safety scenarios where predictable lock behavior during power loss or alarm events is mandated. The eight DC auxiliary outputs, also fused at 3A each, are selectable per output for Bus1 or Bus2 assignment, supporting distributed control of powered endpoints across segregated circuits without additional external switching logic.

Integration Context

This supply integrates directly into access control panels, card-reader networks, and hybrid IP surveillance systems where centralized power distribution and relay logic must coexist. Its compact form factor and pre-fused outputs reduce panel real estate and wiring complexity compared to discrete power supplies paired with external relay modules. Typical deployments include secured entry-point installations, emergency egress systems, and multi-door access control clusters where redundant failsafe lock behavior is non-negotiable.
