Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75/250-2C8PD8NLCE4 250W Power Supply 20A/12V

Overview

The FPO75/250-2C8PD8NLCE4 is a 250W dual-voltage power supply designed for access control systems running multiple door locks, electronic strikes, and auxiliary devices. At 20A/12V or 10A/24V output, it delivers the current needed to power fail-safe or fail-secure locks across commercial entry points without undersizing your distribution. The dual-bus architecture with selectable FAI (Fail-to-Access Interrupt) per output lets you configure lock behavior independently — critical when you have both controlled-access zones and life-safety egress paths in the same system.

Compatibility

This supply integrates with Lifesafety Power FAI-equipped access control architectures. The 8 relay lock control outputs are selectable for FAI, failsafe, or failsecure mode per output, meaning you can power mixed lock types on the same panel without additional regulators. The 8 DC auxiliary outputs fused at 3A each support sensors, request-to-exit buttons, and other low-draw field devices on Bus1 or Bus2. Confirm your control panel supports the C4/C8 jumper configuration (included in package) before ordering.

Installation Notes

Output is delivered via terminal blocks rated for 14 AWG wire. Each relay lock output handles 2.5A Class 2 power-limited current; auxiliary outputs are fused at 3A. For installations requiring redundancy, the dual-bus design allows you to segment loads across separate circuits — Bus1 and Bus2 can back each other or feed different zones. Dual FPO Buss/Flex Cable Kit (sold separately) simplifies interconnection in larger multi-panel systems. Verify your circuit breaker and UPS sizing can handle 250W continuous draw; the supply does not include battery backup.
