Description

Lifesafety Power FPO250-B100E1 Dual Voltage Power Supply Enclosure

Overview

The FPO250-B100E1 is a 250W dual-voltage regulated power supply housed in an E1 form-factor enclosure. It delivers up to 4 amps at 12V DC or 8 amps at 24V DC — the flexibility you need when deploying mixed-voltage surveillance equipment (cameras, access control readers, door controllers, alarm sirens) in the same cabinet or distributed locations. The E1 enclosure is sized for standard 19-inch rack mounting or wall-surface installation in electrical closets and security rooms.

Compatibility

This supply works with any 12V or 24V DC surveillance device: IP cameras (fixed, PTZ, turrets), PoE injectors and switches requiring redundant power, access control systems, relay modules, strobes, and wireless bridge receivers. Dual-voltage capability means you can configure outputs for either voltage without swapping units — essential when your installer discovers the camera requires 24V instead of 12V on-site. Verify your device's amperage draw against the output rating (4A @ 12V or 8A @ 24V) to confirm headroom.

Installation Notes

Mount the E1 enclosure on a 19-inch DIN rail inside a cabinet or secure it to a wall bracket in a utility closet. Wire the input to a local 120V/240V circuit breaker (confirm input voltage matching the supply variant). Connect 12V or 24V outputs using terminal blocks — no soldering required. Keep input and output wiring separated to avoid noise coupling into camera power lines. The enclosure is designed for indoor use; do not expose to moisture or outdoor weather.
