Description

Lifesafety Power FPO250/250-3C85D8PE12M/P24-A 250W Dual-Voltage Power Supply

Overview

The FPO250/250-3C85D8PE12M/P24-A is a 250W power supply engineered for access control and door lock integration in commercial security deployments. It delivers 20A at 12VDC or 10A at 24VDC, meeting the power demands of multiple electric strikes, mag locks, and control relays in a single cabinet. The pre-wired E12 enclosure (48H × 36W × 8D inches) with Mercury back plate and 24-door template simplifies integration into existing security infrastructure.

Outputs and Control Architecture

24 relay lock control outputs, each fused at 3A and individually selectable for failsafe, failsecure, or FAI (Form A intermediate) operation — critical for compliance-driven deployments where lock failure modes must be auditable per door. 40 DC auxiliary outputs (Class 2 power-limited at 2.5A per output) each assignable to Bus1 or Bus2, enabling distributed monitoring and control signaling across separate security zones without cross-talk or contention.

Compatibility

Designed for integration with PoE switches and centralized access control panels in warehouse automation, enterprise entry control, and multi-tenant facilities. Pre-wired configuration and dual-voltage support simplify retrofit into existing door controller cabinets and reduce field commissioning time.

Installation Notes

Enclosure dimensions (48H × 36W × 8D) fit standard 19-inch rack rails. Per-output fusing at 3A on lock control outputs prevents cascade failures if a single strike or solenoid faults. Bus1/Bus2 separation on auxiliary outputs allows independent supervision of separate access control zones. Verify load current per output does not exceed rated amperage before deployment.
