The FPO150-B100C8PD8PE4V1 is a 150W power distribution enclosure designed to supply and protect door locks, magnetic latches, and auxiliary access control devices in multi-zone installations. It delivers 4A at 12V and 4A at 24V — enough capacity to run a mix of solenoid locks, strikes, and credential readers across 8 independently fused outputs without a separate battery backup module. The compact E4V1 steel enclosure (24H × 20W × 4.5D inches) mounts in a standard access control cabinet or wall-mounted relay rack, eliminating the need for scattered power supplies across multiple cabinet locations.
The FPO150-B100C8PD8PE4V1 integrates with Vertx access control systems and any industry-standard door control architecture that accepts hardwired 12VDC or 24VDC auxiliary power. It is commonly paired with Vertx 8-door reader boards and legacy multi-door controllers that require segregated lock power rails. Verify your lock voltage requirements (12V or 24V) and total solenoid amperage before installation — exceeding 4A per rail will trip the circuit.
Mount the enclosure vertically in an equipment cabinet with at least 2 inches of clearance above and below for convection cooling. Terminal blocks accept 12 to 14 AWG wire; strip ½ inch of insulation. Each of the 8 outputs is independently fused; replacement fuses must match the original amperage rating to prevent nuisance trips. Input requires standard 120VAC or 240VAC service (verify nameplate before connection). Allow 10 minutes warm-up time after power-on before drawing full current to all outputs — this protects internal transformer and relay contacts during the inrush cycle.
