Overview
The E4A-BOXED is a 24x20x6.5 inch black equipment enclosure designed to house power distribution, access control modules, and surveillance system components in security installations. This compact form factor solves the mounting challenge in space-constrained environments—closets, wall cavities, electrical rooms—where full-size 19-inch racks are impractical or impossible. The black powder-coated steel construction provides thermal management and electromagnetic shielding for sensitive electronics.
Compatibility
The E4A-BOXED includes an AMAG-compatible backplate, enabling direct integration with AMAG access control systems and compatible third-party controllers that use standard 19-inch DIN rail mounting patterns. This backplate design allows you to mount DIN-rail modules, terminal blocks, and power distribution components without additional adapters or fabrication.
Installation Notes
Wall or cabinet mounting via standard four-point fastening on the rear of the enclosure. The 6.5-inch depth accommodates typical DIN-rail-mounted control boards and power supplies; verify depth clearance for back-of-enclosure wiring before final commissioning. Ventilation openings are integrated to prevent thermal buildup in continuous-duty deployments.
