Overview
The E2M1-BOXED is a 20x16x4.5-inch black steel enclosure designed for field-mounted power and control electronics in surveillance and access-control deployments. The unit ships with a Mercury backplate and door-mount hardware, enabling direct installation of DIN-rail components, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers without secondary fabrication. This form factor fits wall or pole mounting in tight cable runs where a compact, sealed junction point is required—typical applications include remote camera arrays, access-control readers, and hardened outdoor power distribution nodes.
Compatibility
The E2M1-BOXED works with any DIN-rail-mountable device: Lifesafety Power power supplies, backup batteries, terminal blocks, and relay modules. The Mercury backplate is standard on Lifesafety enclosures and accommodates 35mm DIN-rail profiles. Door mounting allows quick access to components without full enclosure removal. If you are integrating with Lifesafety Power battery backup systems or modular power distribution units, this enclosure provides the structural and thermal envelope needed for field deployment.
Installation Notes
The enclosure dimensions (20 × 16 × 4.5 inches) constrain internal component layout; verify your total DIN-rail load and thermal dissipation before installation.
