Description

Vertiv GXT5-750LVRT2UXLN 750VA/750W Online Double-Conversion UPS

Overview

The GXT5-750LVRT2UXLN is a 750VA/750W online double-conversion UPS from the Vertiv Liebert GXT5 line built for protecting sensitive network, security, and edge compute equipment in space-constrained installations. Unlike standby or line-interactive topologies, on-line double conversion regenerates a clean sine wave output continuously — connected equipment never switches to battery under normal line fluctuations. That matters in environments where even a brief transfer gap could reset a recorder, drop a VoIP call, or corrupt a write cycle on an NVR or NAS. The compact 2U rack/tower convertible chassis fits standard 19-inch racks or stands upright in a server room corner, making it practical for both wiring closets and edge deployments. Output voltage is user-configurable across 110/115/120/125VAC (±3%), which accommodates equipment with tight voltage tolerances without requiring manual adjustment at the rack.

Compatibility

Designed for 120VAC North American environments. Input draws via a NEMA 5-15P plug (standard 15A wall or PDU outlet); six NEMA 5-15R output receptacles cover typical small-rack loads — 4 of the 6 are individually programmable for load shedding or sequenced shutdown. Compatible with network video recorders, PoE switches, access control panels, servers, and edge compute appliances drawing from standard 120V circuits. Interfaces include USB, RS232, RS485, and terminal block for integration with building management systems or UPS monitoring software; SNMP and web management require the optional Vertiv RDU101 communications card (sold separately). Works within the broader power protection ecosystem — an external battery connector supports runtime extension modules.

Installation Notes

Operating temperature range is +32 to +104°F (0 to 40°C) — standard conditioned server room or wiring closet environments qualify without issue. The gravity-sensing LCD panel auto-orients for rack or tower orientation, eliminating a manual configuration step during install. Unit weighs 37 lb; plan for two-person rack mounting. Efficiency reaches 98% in Active ECO Mode or 95% in full on-line mode — verify with facility power budgets on dense rack builds. Certified to ENERGY STAR 2.0, UL 1778 4th edition, CSA 22.2 No. 107.1, RoHS2, REACH, and WEEE.
