Description

Panduit LWC25-A-C20 Latching Wire Clip

Adhesive-backed latching wire clip designed for routing and securing small-diameter cable bundles in commercial security, access control, and low-voltage installations. The LWC25-A-C20 handles bundles up to 0.25" (6.4 mm) diameter and mounts to clean, non-porous surfaces without drilling—ideal for finished walls, trim, desks, or equipment racks where mechanical fasteners aren't permitted. The latch-top design provides positive retention and re-entry access; flip open the hinged cover to add or remove cables without removing the base. Molded from black UL-recognized polyamide for indoor commercial use, with acrylic adhesive rated for long-term bond strength on painted metal, laminate, and powder-coated surfaces.

Key Features

  • Adhesive mount—no drilling, no fasteners, no wall damage in finished spaces
  • Latching top opens and closes for re-entry without removing the base
  • 0.25" (6.4 mm) bundle capacity—fits typical 22–18 AWG multi-conductor cable runs
  • 1" × 0.88" footprint keeps profile low on trim and millwork
  • cULus 1565 Recognized component for code-compliant installations
  • RoHS compliant material meets commercial procurement standards
  • 100-pack quantity covers a typical floor or zone install in one order

The LWC25-A-C20 is purpose-built for low-voltage wiring in spaces where you can't drill: retail tenant improvements, corporate lobbies, hospitals, museums, and any environment with strict no-penetration rules. The adhesive bond develops full strength in 72 hours and holds under normal service loads; surface prep (clean with isopropyl alcohol, allow to dry) is critical for long-term performance. The latch mechanism is molded into the cover, so there are no separate springs or pins to lose. Open the latch by lifting the front edge; the hinge pivots at the rear. Once cables are laid in the channel, press the cover down until it clicks. To remove cables later, flip the latch open—base stays adhered to the surface. This re-entry capability matters during adds/moves/changes or troubleshooting; you're not cutting clips off the wall and cleaning adhesive residue every time a wire needs tracing.

The 0.25" bundle diameter is sized for small cable groups: a single Cat 6 patch cord, two 18/2 speaker wires, a sensor pigtail and power lead, or a cluster of individual conductors in a door frame. The clip does not compress or deform cable jackets; it simply provides a guide path and prevents sag or snagging. For larger bundles, step up to Panduit's 0.50" or 1.0" clips in the same LWC family. The black finish blends into dark surfaces and remains unobtrusive on painted trim. Panduit molds these clips from flame-retardant polyamide (UL 94 V-2 rating), so they meet material combustibility requirements in plenum-adjacent or commercial-occupancy spaces.

Packaged 100 clips per bag, with 10 bags (1,000 clips) per master carton. For distributed commercial security systems—access control strike wiring across 40 doors, camera home-runs along a perimeter fence line, sensor loops in a warehouse—order quantities align with the scope of a typical installation phase. The cULus 1565 Recognized Component mark allows the clip to be installed as part of a listed assembly; it's not a complete product listing, but it confirms the material and construction have been evaluated for safety in the intended application. Combine with Panduit's adhesive-backed cable ties, surface raceways, and wire duct for a complete no-drill wire management system on finished surfaces.
