The Altronix WP2SPX is a NEMA 4/IP66 rated enclosure designed to house and protect surveillance equipment and backup batteries in harsh environmental conditions. The WP2SPX model is specifically engineered to accommodate various battery configurations for extended runtime.
Compatibility
This enclosure is designed to house a wide range of surveillance equipment, including network video recorders (NVRs), power distribution systems, and other sensitive electronics. It supports the installation of two (2) 12VDC/7AH batteries or four (4) 12VDC/4AH batteries, providing flexible backup power options for extended operation. The integral flanges allow for direct wall mounting, while its compatibility with Altronix pole mount kits (sold separately) offers versatile installation choices in various locations.
Installation Notes
The enclosure features integral flanges for secure wall mounting. For pole mounting, a compatible pole mount kit is required. Its dimensions are 17.53” x 15.3” x 6.67”, providing ample space for equipment and batteries. The NEMA 4/IP66 rating ensures protection against dust ingress and water spray, making it suitable for outdoor and washdown environments.
