Description

Lenovo 7Y77A000WW Thinksystem DE4000H Hybrid Flash Array 4U60

Overview

The Lenovo Thinksystem DE4000H 7Y77A000WW is a 1U rack-mount hybrid flash array designed for scalable storage deployments. It provides a flexible platform for organizations needing to balance performance and capacity, suitable for environments requiring rapid data access alongside bulk storage. This unit is built for integration into standard server racks, offering expandability for drive bays and memory.

Compatibility

This 1U rack-mount chassis is compatible with Intel C232 chipset systems. It supports up to 64 GB of ECC UDIMMs running at speeds up to 2133 MHz. The system offers multiple drive bay configurations, including options for 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA hot-swap or simple-swap drives, and supports optical or backup units via external connections. It features two PCIe 3.0 slots for expansion, one custom low-profile x4-wired slot and one full-height, half-length x8-wired slot.

Installation Notes

The unit requires a standard 1U rack space. It can be configured with a single 300 W AC fixed power supply or redundant hot-swap 460 W AC power supplies for enhanced reliability. Cooling is managed by four non-hot-swap system fans providing calibrated vectored airflow. Security features include power-on passwords, administrator's passwords, and an optional TPM 1.2 or 2.0 module. An optional lockable front bezel is available for physical security.
