Specifically, it is intended to connect to network adapters such as the ThinkSystem Mellanox ConnectX-6 Lx 10/25GbE SFP28 adapters (e.g., 4XC7A62580, 4XC7A62582) and the ThinkEdge Mellanox CX6 Lx 10/25GbE SFP28 adapter (CTO only: BMHD). It provides the physical link for breaking out 100Gbps into four 25Gbps connections.

Installation Notes
