The Chief CPA072 is a 72-inch (182.9 cm) vertical connection column designed to provide robust structural support for large format displays in commercial and public spaces. This accessory is critical for installations requiring precise height adjustment and secure mounting, particularly in digital signage, video conferencing, or command and control environments where display stability and alignment are paramount. The CPA072 facilitates the integration of displays with compatible Chief mounting systems, ensuring a clean and professional installation.
This connection column is designed to integrate with Chief's modular mounting solutions. It is compatible with display mounts that utilize Chief's patented Q-Lock™ or similar quick-release mounting interfaces, commonly found on their Fusion™ and Thinstall™ series mounts. Always verify display weight and VESA pattern against the specifications of the chosen Chief mount and the CPA072's load capacity.
Installation requires a compatible Chief wall mount or floor stand base. The CPA072 column is secured to the base and then the display mount attaches to the top of the column. Ensure the mounting surface (wall or floor) can support the combined weight of the display, mount, and column. Torque specifications for column-to-base and mount-to-column connections must be followed precisely to ensure structural integrity. The column's internal channels can accommodate cable management for power and data, maintaining a clean aesthetic.
