Description

Zebra 10014014 Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Zebra 10014014 is a 3x1 inch (76.2x25.4mm) polyester label featuring Z-Ultimate 4000T High Tack white, high-performance coated material with a robust HighTack adhesive. This label is engineered for applications requiring extreme durability and adhesion, particularly in harsh industrial or outdoor settings where standard labels fail. Each roll has a 3-inch core and contains 4300 labels, supplied in boxes of 4 rolls. This specific label stock is suitable for thermal transfer printing, providing excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and extreme temperatures, making it ideal for asset tracking, component labeling, and harsh environment identification.

Compatibility

This label stock is designed for use with Zebra thermal transfer printers that accept 3-inch core rolls and are capable of printing on 3-inch wide media. It is compatible with a wide range of Zebra industrial and desktop printers, including but not limited to the ZT400 Series, ZT500 Series, ZT600 Series, and select GK/GX Series printers when configured for 3-inch core media. Always verify your printer's media handling specifications for 3-inch core and 3-inch width compatibility.

Installation Notes

For optimal performance, apply labels to a clean, dry surface free from dust, oil, and other contaminants. The HighTack adhesive requires a firm, consistent pressure during application to ensure full contact and maximum bond strength. Recommended application temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 100°F (38°C). The adhesive achieves full bond strength within 24 hours at room temperature. For thermal transfer printing, ensure the correct ribbon type (e.g., Zebra 5095 or 5100 resin ribbons) is used to achieve maximum print durability and resistance to environmental factors.
