Description

Middle Atlantic L5KBB2SEHD101527 Lectern Turret Top HPL Woodkit — Weathered Ash with Aluminum

Overview

The L5KBB2SEHD101527 is the Sota-style turret top HPL (High Pressure Laminate) woodkit for the Middle Atlantic L5 lectern series, finished in weathered ash with aluminum accent. This woodkit is the outer shell component that defines the finished aesthetic of the lectern — it does not contain electronics or mounting hardware. Deploy it when building out or refurbishing an L5 lectern in an environment where a contemporary, durable laminate finish is specified: house-of-worship AV installations, corporate boardrooms, university lecture halls, or government briefing rooms. The HPL surface resists scratches and cleaning agents better than painted wood alternatives, making it a practical choice for high-contact public presentation environments.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic L5 lectern platform. The Sota-style turret top profile is a specific L5 configuration — verify your base lectern frame is the L5 Sota turret variant before ordering, as Middle Atlantic produces multiple L5 top profiles (flat, sloped, turret) that are not interchangeable. This woodkit is a cosmetic/structural shell component; internal AV integration components such as rack modules, cable management, and power strips are ordered separately within the Middle Atlantic AV furniture line.

Installation Notes

Woodkits for the L5 series attach to the lectern frame via Middle Atlantic's standard panel-fastening system. Confirm the base frame is fully assembled before fitting the woodkit. HPL panels should be handled with care during installation to avoid edge chipping — standard laminate handling practices apply. No special tools beyond those included with the L5 base frame are typically required, but verify with the L5 assembly documentation for torque specs on panel fasteners.
