i-PRO PRCM8 White Recessed Ceiling Mount Bracket
Overview
The PRCM8 is a recessed ceiling mount bracket engineered to recess i-PRO fixed-dome cameras (WV-X8570N and WV-S8530N) into drop ceilings or drywall plenums. The camera housing sits above the ceiling line; only the lens and trim ring remain visible below. This form factor eliminates the visual footprint of a surface-mounted dome—critical in retail, hospitality, and office environments where discrete mounting preserves sightlines and denies physical access to the dome housing. White finish matches standard drywall ceilings. The PRCM8 includes a cut template to mark the ceiling opening, simplifying rough-in and reducing installation time.
Compatibility
This bracket is engineered exclusively for the i-PRO WV-X8570N and WV-S8530N series. Do not assume compatibility with other i-PRO or Panasonic camera models—mount interface geometry and weight rating vary significantly across product lines. Verify the mount interface and camera weight with the manufacturer before purchase if you are deploying a different model.
Installation Notes
The PRCM8 uses a 3/8"-16 anchor bolt system sized for standard drywall backing or ceiling grid. Mount to a supporting structure capable of sustaining the combined weight of the camera and bracket assembly—verify your ceiling grid or drywall backing can handle the load before final installation. Hardware includes two 3/8"-16 hex nuts, four M4 × 7mm Phillips screws, two 1/32" O.D. safety tethers, and two #8-32 × 5/16" Phillips SEMS screws. All fasteners are provided; no special tools beyond a Phillips screwdriver and wrench are required. Cable runs (power and Ethernet) must remain within manufacturer-specified distances from the camera; verify PoE cable length and routing before final mounting. A qualified installer familiar with local electrical codes and building safety standards should perform the installation.
