The HPE P55326-B21 is a factory-new direct-attach cable assembly designed to connect the 12-slot EDSFF (E1.S) drive backplane to the Gen11 controller interface on HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen11 servers. Weighing 53 g and measuring 1.23 × 5.25 in (3.23 × 13.34 cm), the P55326-B21 routes four x4 lanes across a B3 backplane segment, enabling full-bandwidth connectivity for up to 12 EDSFF drives in a high-density NVMe storage configuration. It addresses the physical cabling gap between the backplane mid-plane and the onboard storage controller — a step that must be completed before any EDSFF drives are recognized by the system.
Designed specifically for the HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen11 platform. Compatible with the 12-slot EDSFF (E1.S) drive cage assembly using the x4 B3 backplane configuration. This cable is not interchangeable with DL560 Gen10 or earlier backplane variants, nor with SFF/LFF backplane assemblies — the EDSFF connector and lane mapping are unique to the Gen11 platform. If your DL560 Gen11 is configured with a different backplane segment (B1 or B2) or a different lane width, verify the HPE QuickSpecs for the DL560 Gen11 to confirm the correct cable option before ordering.
