Overview

The P48926-B21 is a factory-supplied blank kit designed to cover unused DisplayPort, USB, and optical disk drive (ODD) bay openings on HPE ProLiant DL3X0 Gen11 1U rack servers. Leaving front-panel I/O bays open disrupts chassis airflow management — hot air recirculates into the intake path and raises component temperatures across the server. This blank maintains the intended airflow baffle, keeps rack airflow balanced, and presents a clean faceplate when the ports or ODD are not deployed.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the HPE ProLiant DL3X0 Gen11 platform in 1U chassis form factor. Applicable to the DL360 Gen11 and DL380 Gen11 where front-panel DP, USB, or ODD positions are unpopulated.
