Compatibility
The S3N89A is designed for use with HPE Aruba networking platforms that expose QSFP28 ports, including 100G-capable Aruba CX spine and core switches. QSFP28 is the standard 100G module form factor across the industry, but HPE transceivers are validated against HPE firmware and DOM (digital optical monitoring) implementation — third-party modules may trigger warnings or disable DOM telemetry on Aruba CX switches. Verify compatibility against your specific switch model's supported optics list before ordering. Installation Notes
Insert into any QSFP28-designated port with the bail-latch facing out; the module is keyed and cannot seat incorrectly.
