Its 3.2mm (0.12 inch) expanded diameter and 2:1 shrink ratio make it suitable for bundling and protecting wires and cables in various industrial and commercial applications, including low-voltage wiring for security systems.
This heat shrink tubing is a universal accessory designed to fit a wide range of cable diameters after shrinking. It is compatible with most low-voltage and data cable terminations where a 3.2mm (0.12 inch) or smaller diameter bundle is required post-shrink. It is commonly used with 18-22 AWG wires and cables.
To achieve optimal performance, the Panduit HSTT12-CC requires a heat gun or equivalent heat source capable of reaching temperatures sufficient for shrinking. Apply heat evenly around the tubing until it has fully contracted and conformed to the underlying wires or cable jacket.
