Overview

The Panduit FHCXO-24-10U is an HD Flex™ cassette designed for high-density fiber optic deployments. It terminates 24 fibers, transitioning from a male MPO-12 connector to 12 LC duplex adapters. This cassette utilizes universal polarity, simplifying installation and ensuring correct signal pathing in structured cabling systems. Its polycarbonate construction provides durability, and the integrated shutters on the LC adapters prevent dust contamination and damage. This unit is ideal for data center racks and telecommunications closets where space is at a premium and high port density is required.

Compatibility

This FHCXO-24-10U cassette is designed to integrate with Panduit's HD Flex™ fiber optic enclosures and panels. It supports OM3 multimode fiber, commonly used for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and higher speeds over shorter distances. The universal polarity method ensures compatibility with both Type A, Type B, and Type C MPO trunk cables when used in appropriate configurations within the HD Flex system.

Installation Notes

The cassette features a black housing with a black MPO connector and aqua blue LC adapters. Installation involves sliding the cassette into a compatible HD Flex™ enclosure or panel. The integrated shutters on the LC duplex adapters automatically protect the fiber end-faces from dust and contamination when not in use, reducing the need for separate cleaning tools during initial setup.
