Overview
The SPG-IND16B is a replacement smoked dome cover for Hanwha's QND indoor dome series, sold in black. It exists to solve two field problems: a cracked or scratched dome bubble degrading image clarity, and a site standard that calls for matching black-housing cameras across a hallway or lobby run. Swapping the cover instead of the whole camera keeps a working QND unit in service without a truck roll for a full replacement.

Confirmed fit for the Hanwha QND-6011, QND-6021, QND-8011, and QND-8021 indoor dome cameras. Check the exact model printed on your camera's label before ordering — dome covers are keyed to a specific housing generation, and a mismatch will leave gaps in the gasket seal or a cover that won't seat on the bayonet ring.
Installation Notes
The cover carries an IK10 impact rating, so it holds up to deliberate strikes in corridors, stairwells, and other high-traffic or tamper-prone areas — the reason to spec a dome camera over a bullet in these spots to begin with. Sealed to IP66/IP67, it maintains the housing's resistance to dust ingress and water jets once reinstalled with the factory gasket seated correctly; a pinched or missing gasket voids that rating even though the cover itself is intact. Rated for continuous operation from -58°F to +140°F, matching the parent camera's environmental spec, so it won't become the weak point in an unheated stairwell or a rooftop mechanical closet.
