Overview

The Hanwha SBP-060S is a stainless steel mount strap designed to secure Hanwha IP cameras to poles and walls in corrosive or high-moisture environments. This is a support accessory, not a camera itself—think of it as the critical hardware that keeps your camera stable and aligned in salt spray, humidity, or industrial pollution where standard steel would rust away.

Construction uses marine-grade SUS316L stainless steel, which resists chloride corrosion far longer than standard 304 stainless or painted steel. Each strap measures 600mm (23.6 inches) in length, 12.6mm wide, and 0.62mm thick. The SBP-060S accommodates pole diameters from 80mm to 160mm (roughly 3 to 6.3 inches)—a range that covers most industrial and outdoor pole standards. Two straps ship per package, allowing you to mount two cameras on the same pole or provide redundant fastening on a single unit.

Installation requires no specialized tools beyond a standard wrench or hex key. Tightening is straightforward, but stainless steel fasteners demand care—use a torque wrench set to the camera manufacturer's specification (typically 12–18 Nm for TR30 mounts) to avoid over-tightening and thread damage. Under-tightening will cause creep and misalignment over time, especially on windy outdoor poles.

Standard steel will degrade visibly within months; SUS316L eliminates corrosion as a maintenance driver. If your site is indoors with low humidity and no chemical exposure, a lower-cost mild steel strap may suffice—but replacement intervals will be shorter.
