Description

Geovision 110-MFD2501-4F2 2M Super Low Lux Mini Dome

Overview

The Geovision 110-MFD2501-4F2 is a compact mini fixed dome camera optimized for low-light indoor environments where small form factor and reduced power draw matter. The 2.1mm lens delivers a fixed wide field of view suitable for hallways, small retail spaces, and compact office areas. Super low-lux capability means usable footage in dimly lit spaces without relying on external IR, reducing installation complexity in environments where IR bloom or washout is a concern. Powers via PoE (802.3af) or DC 5V, so it integrates into existing PoE infrastructure without dedicated power lines.

Compatibility

This camera is compatible with Geovision GV-series NVRs and ONVIF-compliant video management systems that support standard H.264/H.265 streams. Verify your NVR or VMS supports the camera's output resolution and codec before deploying. The PoE power requirement (802.3af, under 13W typical) fits standard PoE switches without requiring PoE+ infrastructure.

Installation Notes

Mount via ceiling or wall bracket (hardware not included in this specification). The compact dome design fits tight ceiling cavities and recessed mounting. Ensure PoE-enabled switch or injector is within 100m of the camera via Cat5e or better cabling. If using DC 5V power, route a separate power line to the camera location. Test low-lux performance in your actual scene before final positioning — perceived brightness varies significantly with ambient light sources and reflective surfaces.
