Overview

The Geovision 84-FD320-D01U is a 3MP fixed dome camera with varifocal optics (2.7–9mm) and integrated IR illumination, built for indoor and semi-outdoor surveillance where flexible field-of-view customization saves on lens swaps and installation labor. The dome form factor is discreet and compact—it fits standard ceiling cutouts and pendant mounts, making retrofit work straightforward. The 3MP sensor delivers enough resolution for subject identification in access control, retail, facility monitoring, and corridor coverage scenarios. H.264 compression keeps storage consumption reasonable without sacrificing detail, and IR extends operation into complete darkness, eliminating the need for auxiliary lighting in storage areas, server rooms, and other low-ambient-light facilities. The varifocal lens means you adjust horizontal and vertical field of view during commissioning—no need to stock multiple fixed-lens variants or reconfigure cabling if coverage requirements shift before or after handoff.
