The GV-MOUNT913 is a slim circular mounting plate (Ø146 x 7.5mm) designed to interface fixed-dome cameras with Geovision power box enclosures. This bracket solves a specific install problem: securing a dome camera to an electrical or low-voltage distribution box without direct mounting holes that align. The thin profile (0.3 inches) minimizes standoff depth, useful when wall or ceiling space is constrained. Weighs 180g (0.4 lb), so minimal load on the power box itself.
The GV-MOUNT913 is specified for these Geovision camera series: GV-FD (fixed-dome), GV-EFD (fisheye fixed-dome), and GV-EDR (explosion-proof dome). It works with standard North American electrical enclosures: single-gang boxes, double-gang boxes, 4-inch square boxes, and 4-inch octagon boxes. The bracket uses M3 screws to secure the camera to the plate and standard box screws to attach the plate to the power box. Do not use this bracket with GV-FER, GV-QFER12700, GV-MDR, GV-MFD, or GV-VD series—those require GV-MOUNT912, GV-MOUNT912-1, GV-MOUNT910, or no bracket, respectively.
Mounting depends on enclosure type. Single-gang boxes use hole D; double-gang and 4-inch octagon boxes use hole C; 4-inch square boxes use hole A. Install sequence: (1) secure the mounting plate to the power box using your own box screws through the corresponding holes, (2) unpack the camera, (3) attach the camera to the plate using M3 screws provided with or specified in the camera documentation. Ensure the power box is de-energized before drilling or fastening. No special tools required beyond a standard drill and screwdriver.
