Overview
The GV-MOUNT410 is a stainless steel pole mounting bracket designed to secure Geovision thermal imaging cameras to round poles between 6 and 7.5 inches in diameter. This accessory solves the mechanical attachment problem in industrial and perimeter surveillance deployments where a thermal camera must be positioned on an existing utility pole, fence post, or structural support without drilling into walls or ceilings. The bracket dimensions are 241 × 161 mm (9.5 × 6.3 in), with a total weight of 1.70 kg (3.75 lbs) — lightweight enough that pole loading is not a concern in most installations.
Compatibility
The GV-MOUNT410 integrates with Geovision thermal camera systems that support the GV-MOUNT interface standard. Confirm your thermal camera model accepts this bracket interface before ordering. The bracket is suitable for both pole-mounted and rack-mounted configurations in fixed surveillance positions. If your pole diameter falls below 6 inches or above 7.5 inches, the GV-MOUNT400 variant (4–6 inch poles) is available as an alternative.
Installation Notes
The bracket ships with three stainless steel straps pre-cut for 6–7.5 inch pole diameters — no field fabrication required. The hardware kit includes M8 fasteners (30 mm and 25 mm screws), stainless steel split and plain washers, and screw caps rated for outdoor environments. Wrap the straps tightly around the pole, thread the screws through the bracket holes, and secure with the provided hardware. Ensure all fasteners are hand-tight plus a quarter turn — over-torquing can strip the stainless hardware. The bracket does not require electrical connection; it is purely mechanical.
