Deploy this where the camera itself sits in a harsh or semi-exposed location but you want to reduce cleaning cycles and protect the optical surfaces from degradation. The cover works with cameras rated IP67 and IK10, extending the effective service life without introducing optical artifacts or zoom range loss.
This cover is designed specifically for the Geovision SD V2 series, including the GV-SD2411 V2 and compatible SD V2 platform models. It is intended for PTZ cameras with the same dome geometry and mounting interface as the SD V2 family. Verify your camera model against the SD V2 designation before ordering—this accessory will not fit earlier SD V1 variants or unrelated Geovision dome lines.
