Description

Middle Atlantic IUQFP-4DRA 2U Ultra-Quiet Rack Fan Panel

Overview

The IUQFP-4DRA is a 2U, 100 CFM active fan panel from Middle Atlantic designed for rack thermal management in 220–240VAC environments — the right choice when your rack is on international power or a 240V circuit and you need active airflow with status visibility. At 27 dB, it moves a genuine 100 CFM without the fan noise that disrupts AV and security control rooms. The integrated display gives you real-time feedback on fan operation so you catch a failing fan before equipment overheats rather than after. The black brushed anodized finish matches standard Middle Atlantic rack aesthetics. Rack depth is only 2.96 in (7.5 cm), so it won't crowd a shallow rack.

Compatibility

Fits any standard 19-inch EIA rack — including Middle Atlantic Middle Atlantic rack enclosures (WMRK, ERK, BGR, PD, and L-series), as well as open-frame and enclosed racks from other manufacturers that accept 19-inch, 2U panel accessories. The 5 VDC output powers the internal fan circuitry; no separate power brick is required. The 220–240VAC input makes this the correct fan panel for EU, UK, AU, and other international installations — do not substitute the domestic 120VAC variants in these environments. If your rack installation is in a rack accessory build requiring thermal management, verify your local mains voltage matches this panel's input range before ordering.

Installation Notes

Occupies 2 rack units. Mounting is via 2 mounting points to the rack's front rails — standard EIA 19-inch spacing. Orient in the rack so exhaust flows toward the top or rear of the enclosure; pairing with a blanking panel below intake equipment improves chimney airflow efficiency. The panel draws AC mains directly — route the power lead to a rack-mounted power distribution unit or dedicated 240V outlet. No tools beyond a standard screwdriver are required for installation. At 4 lbs (1.8 kg) shipping weight, the installed unit is light enough to mount single-handed.
