Overview

The S2018C is a stainless steel external elbow cover fitting designed for Middle Atlantic Plugmold 2000-series raceway and cord cover systems. It terminates or transitions a raceway run at an external corner — the kind of 90-degree direction change you encounter when routing cables around door frames, column bases, or wall-to-floor transitions in commercial installations. The S2018C covers the elbow joint on the outside of the bend, maintaining a finished appearance and protecting the transition point from physical contact and dust ingress. TAA-compliant construction makes it suitable for government facilities, federal projects, and any deployment where Trade Agreements Act conformance is a procurement requirement.

Compatibility

Fits the Plugmold 2000-series raceway family. Verify your existing raceway profile matches the 2000-series form factor before ordering — Middle Atlantic produces multiple raceway widths and profiles, and elbow covers are not interchangeable across series. The stainless steel finish coordinates with stainless-finish 2000-series base and cover sections; confirm finish consistency across your raceway run if appearance uniformity is a requirement. Installation Notes

Install at external (outside) corners only — this fitting is not interchangeable with internal elbow covers, which handle inside-bend transitions. No tools or adhesives are specified for the fitting itself; it snaps or clips onto the raceway elbow in the same manner as standard 2000-series cover sections. Verify the elbow base fitting is installed and secured before applying the cover. For cable management planning in multi-run layouts, account for bend radius at the elbow to avoid pinching conductors at the transition point.
