Overview

The ENET Solutions C6-BK-SCB-14-ENC is a 14-foot, Category 6, Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) network patch cable. Its slim 28AWG construction and clear snagless molded boots are designed for high-density environments where cable management is critical, such as server racks or network closets. This cable ensures reliable data transmission for surveillance systems, network switches, and other IP devices.

Compatibility

This Cat6 cable is compatible with all standard networking equipment requiring a Cat6 or lower-rated Ethernet connection. This includes, but is not limited to, network switches, routers, IP cameras, NVRs, and workstations. It supports data rates up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) over limited distances, and 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE) up to 100 meters. The snagless boot design prevents damage to the RJ45 connector tab during installation and removal.

Installation Notes

The 28AWG construction offers increased flexibility, making it easier to route in tight spaces compared to standard 24AWG cables. The clear snagless boots protect the RJ45 connectors and ensure the cable can be plugged and unplugged without damaging the connector or the port. For optimal performance and to achieve 10GbE speeds, ensure the cable run does not exceed 55 meters (180 feet) and is used in conjunction with other Cat6-rated infrastructure.
