Panduit METS4-X Embossing Tape
Overview
The Panduit METS4-X is a 0.5-inch wide embossing tape constructed from 304 stainless steel. This material provides superior corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for permanent labeling in demanding industrial, outdoor, or corrosive environments where standard labels would degrade. The METS4-X is designed for use with Panduit's M-BOSS embossing tool to create raised, indelible markings that withstand extreme conditions and resist fading or peeling.
Compatibility
This embossing tape is specifically designed for use with the Panduit M-BOSS manual embossing tool (part number M-BOSS) and its associated accessories. It is not compatible with thermal transfer printers or other labeling systems.
Installation Notes
Ensure the M-BOSS embossing tool is properly loaded with the METS4-X tape cartridge. Operate the tool according to the M-BOSS manual to create embossed characters on the tape. The tape is then applied to the target surface. For optimal adhesion in harsh environments, ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
