Description

Altronix EFLOW4NA8V Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix EFLOW4NA8V is a 24VDC power supply designed to distribute power to multiple access control devices or cameras. It features eight individually fused outputs, providing protection and isolation for each connected component. This unit is suitable for deployments requiring distributed power management, such as in large commercial buildings or campus environments where running individual power lines to each device is impractical. The EFLOW4NA8V integrates with Altronix's ACM8 module for enhanced control and monitoring capabilities.

Compatibility

This power supply is designed for use with Altronix ACM8 (or ACM8CB) Access Control Modules. It is suitable for powering a wide range of 24VDC access control devices including card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, and IP cameras that operate within its specified voltage and current limits. It is not intended for direct connection to AC power sources; it requires a 115VAC or 230VAC input via a separate transformer (sold separately).

Installation Notes

The EFLOW4NA8V requires a 24VAC input from a suitable transformer (e.g., Altronix AL400UL transformer, sold separately) to convert AC to DC. Each of the eight outputs is individually fused, allowing for flexible protection with various fuse ratings (e.g., 2.5A, 5A) depending on the connected device's power draw. The unit is designed for rack mounting or wall mounting.
