Overview

The Altronix EBRIDGE4SK is a 4-port receiver kit designed to extend Ethernet connectivity for IP cameras over existing coaxial cable infrastructure. This system allows you to deploy IP cameras in locations where running new Ethernet cable is impractical or cost-prohibitive, leveraging your existing coax runs for data transmission. The EBRIDGE4SK receiver unit connects to your network switch and provides four individual receiver modules, each capable of handling a single IP camera's data stream.

Compatibility

This receiver kit is designed to work with Altronix EBRIDGE100SPR or EBRIDGE100SPR-24 transceivers (sold separately). It supports the transmission of data for any standard IP camera or network device that utilizes Ethernet connectivity. The system is compatible with cameras requiring up to 13W of PoE power, provided the transceiver unit is appropriately powered.

Installation Notes

Each receiver module in the EBRIDGE4SK kit requires a connection to a standard network switch or NVR via an Ethernet cable. The coaxial cable from the remote transceiver (EBRIDGE100SPR or EBRIDGE100SPR-24) connects to the BNC port on each receiver module. Ensure the transceiver unit is powered according to its specifications to deliver the necessary data and PoE budget to the remote camera.
