Unitech EA530-NALFTMDG Wearable 2D Scanner
Overview
The EA530-NALFTMDG is a wearable 2D barcode scanner engine designed to pair with Android handheld terminals over Bluetooth or WiFi. Deploy it in warehouse picking, cross-dock sorting, and field service workflows where workers need hands-free scanning without tethering to a docking station. The unit integrates with Unitech's third-generation MoboLink enterprise management framework—meaning IT can monitor device health, push configurations, and deploy app updates across your entire fleet without touching individual units.
Compatibility
The EA530-NALFTMDG connects to any Android handheld terminal that supports Bluetooth or WiFi peripheral pairing. Verify compatibility with your specific Android device model before deployment; the scanner pairs as a standard Bluetooth HID or WiFi network accessory. The ScanBridge Companion app simplifies pairing and auto-configuration on iOS, Android, and Windows hosts. Third-party EMM solutions (like AirWatch, MobileIron, or others) can push Unitech-specific settings via OEMConfig without custom middleware.
Installation Notes
Configure wireless connectivity through the Unitech Scanner Utility (USS), which offers a GUI for scanner pairing, parameter adjustment, and keypad-input mode. Advanced WLAN settings—power-saving modes and roaming parameters—prevent battery drain when the device moves between multiple access points in large warehouses. Use StageGO (barcode-based staging utility) to onboard units in bulk; each scan executes pre-configured scripts, reducing per-device setup time during shifts or location rollouts. Enterprise Launcher locks the device to approved scanning apps only, blocking system access—essential for high-turnover environments. Firmware updates deploy over-the-air via System Update Center and FOTA (firmware over-the-air), eliminating manual downloads.
